인터뷰랑 부가영상 보면서 흥미로웠던것들 내가보려고 정리

1. 맷이 그린존을 촬영하면서 가장 힘들었던점은 Met-D 팀원들에게 편하게 명령할수 있도록 적응하는 것이었음.

Q: What was the hardest thing to do in this movie?

A: Probably clearing that first hurdle of being comfortable giving orders to those guys. Seriously. That was -- really. And it was those soldiers and marines that helped me. They wanted the movie to be good and they wanted me to believable, and they said you're representing us here, and between action and cut you give us an order, we're going to follow it. And I needed that permission.

Met-D 팀원들은 프로 배우가 아니라 이라크, 아프가니스탄에서 돌아온 참전 군인임. 그래서 처음엔 배우인 자신이 전쟁을 겪은 실제 군인들에게 명령을 내리는게 걱정되었다고함

그러나 그들이 지휘관의 명령을 따르는 군대 시스템에 매우 익숙했기 때문에 촬영에 돌입하고, 높은 계급장을 달고, 자신이 그들의 지휘관으로써 무언가를 말하면 그건 실제명령이 되었다고함

팀원들이 맷뎅의 지시를 어색해한다면 자칫 전체 씬을 망칠수도 있었는데 전혀 그런일이 없었다고.

2. 모든 영화 촬영장엔 Technical advisor가 있음. (그린존의 자문은 밀러의 모델이 된 실제 WMD 팀장 몬티 곤잘레스) 배우들은 항상 질문을 보따리채로 들고 그들을 찾아가는데, 이 영화에선 몬티 뿐만아니라 모든 팀원들이 군인이라 사소한 디테일까지 모두 질문할수 있었다고 함. 실제 군인들과 함께한건 맷이 연기하는데도, 그리고 영화를 만드는데도 엄청난 도움이 되었음.

특히 영화 초반에 함자의 집에 침입하는 씬. 그 씬은 동선이 정해지지 않은 즉흥적인 실제상황에 가깝다고함. 군인들이 실제로 집을 점검할때 처럼 행동하고 카메라는 그걸 담아낸것 뿐이라고함

And I just love that stuff, because it’s so — I call it NAR: No Acting Required. You’re so taken over by the situation and surrounded by these guys, who just really know what they’re doing. So it makes it feel really authentic.

3. 함자의 집에 침입하기 전 장면

Charlie Rose: So tell me what's happening there and how much of that was improvised?

Matt Damon: It was all based on what Brian had written, but some of it was improvised. Paul told Adam, the guy who I ended up having a little altercation with at the end --

Charlie Rose: Get your game face on guy.

Matt Damon: That guy. He said, listen, ask him how do we know this guy isn't leading us into an ambush, because I've made in this split section decision we're going to do this, we're going to go on this information. And the suggestion to Adam that he do that caused one of the marines there is, the guy who probably had at that point done the toughest tour in Iraq -- he was in Fallujah -- and he literally just had to leave that little circle we were in because it was like he got sick to his stomach. And so I kind of jogged out after him and said Mike, what's up? And he said "Are you kidding me?" He said "That type of insubordination now, when we're here?" He said "If I have a problem with your leadership, you would have known about it by now. I'm not going to wait until you're here. When we're out here and being insubordinate like that." And he said "Get your bleeping game face on. And I said "Really?" He said "Get your bleeping game face on." OK, great. So I whispered it to Paul, and Paul said OK. So when Adam, who was a sniper in the National Guard in Iraq, when Adam said this line of "How do we know he's not leading us into an ambush," I summoned all my courage up because I was talking to real soldiers and I'm an actor, and I said it. I said, "We don't. Get your bleeping game face on." And the camera was on Adam, and that reaction was a real -- he apologized. He just reflexively just went "Sorry." And it was a really nice -- but that's the -- because Adam really was a soldier and was used to the chain of command and realized instantly that he'd kind of questioned -- that he was out of line, and because Mike was a marine and had a certain perspective, that scene came alive because they each helped us.

Charlie Rose: And this is the turning point in the movie. This is the point where --

촬영 전에 다른 군인분이 맷뎅한테 전시에 저런 종류의 불복종은 매우 선을 넘는 일이라고, 자신이라면 저런 말을 들었을때 Get your fucking game face on. 이라고 할것이었다고함. (?) 이부분 사실 잘 이해못함 어쨌든 그래서 맷뎅이 폴감독님한테 이러이러하게 대사를 바꾸는게 어떻겠냐고 전달했고 그 대사가 들어가게됨. 맷은 그 대사를 칠때 용기를 짜냈다고ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 바꾼 대사 덕분에 그 장면이 더 생동감 있게 되었는데, 질문한 군인분의 반응은 실제였다고함. Get your fucking game face on. 대사를 들었을때 바로 자신이 상관에게 선을 넘었다는 것을 깨달았을거라고

4. Met-D 팀원들, 제작진, 폴 그린그래스 감독님이 본 맷

폴 감독: 정말 흥미로웠던 것은, 이 남자들이 맷을 치프로 불러야 하는 상황에 얼마나 빠르게 적응했는지에요. 그리고 며칠후엔, 그는 정말로 '치프'였어요. 맷은 의심할 여지 없이 그들의 지휘관이었죠

몬티 곤잘레스 (자문) : 모든이가 맷을 치프라고 불러요. 그는 빠르게 그 팀에 동화되었고 그걸 지켜보는건 정말 멋졌습니다.

맷은 영화를 제대로 만들기 위해 완벽히 헌신했어요, 매우 감동받았습니다. 맷은 처음부터 저에게 말했어요. 제가 결과물에 만족하지 못한다면, 그것은 옳지 않은 장면이라고, 다시 촬영해야만 한다고요. 그는 일을 확실히 하는데에 정말 집중했어요.

Met-D 팀원: 이 팀은 "맷 데이먼과 우리"가 아니에요. "우리와 치프 맷" 이죠

5. 부가영상 中 맷이 너무 잘 적응해버려서, 팀원들 사이에 서있었는데 폴 감독님이 맷 어디갔음??하고 찾기도함
