I am asked very often what has been my favourite shoot over the years and this is obviously an impossible question to answer, as I’ve had some phenomenal experiences during my career thus far. BUT there have been a few times when the total unexpected happens and I am fortunate enough to capture this in my camera.

One such time was the wonderful shot of chums #MattDamon and #HeathLedger. I had gone to Prague to photograph Matt. We were all set up and happily shooting, using a space at a film studio, and I was making Matt look all brooding and Jason Bourne-eque; as I was aiming for a smouldering shot. From outside there was a mighty bang. Matt went to investigate and found that Heath was out there and had fell over the makeup cart. Heath followed Matt back into our shooting space to see what we were up to, and he asked if he could stay and watch. Heath positioned himself at the back of our room...and the smouldering shots with Matt continued. Suddenly a wet paper towel flew over my head, catching Matt off guard! This was then followed by a cackle of laughing from Heath. That was the end of the brooding/smouldering shots as Matt burst into laughter and these two started larking around like a couple of four year olds at a wedding. I asked Heath if he wanted to join in for a couple of shots. I took ten frames of these guys together lampooning and jesting. But I feel this specific shot sums up the good nature and friendship these guys shared.
